How to map your marketing goal to the right facebook ad type

To create a facebook successful campaign, We will need to focus a marketing objective. As Objectives are set at the campaign level. It means we can create that we may create different ad sets and ads within our campaign, but they all focus on the same objective.

Facebook Campaign Objective

Marketing objectives are divided into three general categories. Use these to narrow down which objective best aligns as per overall business goals.

  • Awareness: To Increase and generate interest in business, product or service.
  • Consideration: To encourage people to learn more about what business offers.
  • Conversion: To encourage interested people to purchase or use product or service.

Consider desired actions or results

Once we have narrowed down our campaign’s focus, decide which actions or results we would like our campaign to aim for. Once people have received our message (our advertisement), what do we want them to do? The objective that we choose will help Facebook to reach the people who are most likely to take the actions that we want.Take a look at the table below to see which creative formats are available for each ad objective.
